Refocus Your Vision

I am so excited about my upcoming seminar in April, entitled Refocus Your Vision. Back in October of 2017, during my prayer time, I was led to this idea . I had no clue who my speakers would be at that time, but the title was very clear to me. I knew that the target audience for this seminar had to be women. It had to touch upon areas that many women struggle with on a daily basis. Many women are walking around as if everything is okay with them, when in actuality, they are hurting internally. They don't see their potential, and they can not move forward. You see, when your vision is clouded, you are limited in your ability to reach the next level. Sure, you may be able to take baby steps, but you will never maximize your full potential. My goal for this seminar is to empower women to stop allowing people, things, and feelings to get in their way.

The best way that I can describe refocusing your vision is the example of wiping the lens of your eye/sun glasses clean. Sure your vision is blurred at first, but once you wipe the lens clean, you can see everything from a clear view (your vision is now refocused).

You may come into this seminar with your eyesight blurred, but you will leave with new sight and a fresh perspective for your life.

I encourage you, if you have not already purchased a ticket, to do so. I know that you will leave transformed from the inside out!

My wedding

Hi beautiful readers. It's amazing how quickly weddings come and go, but I have to say that our wedding was fabulous. It was truly the best day of my life. All of my expectations were met and all of the hard work in planning was completely worth it. There are so many parts of my wedding that I truly loved, but a special moment was my Brother walking me down the aisle and both my Mom and Brother giving me away. I honored my Dad through a video and dance that I recorded and played during the reception. Everything was picture perfect!!! My husband and I took it all in and danced and enjoyed being with our guests the entire night. * If you're planning a wedding, my suggestion is to enjoy the process. For the most part, I enjoyed every aspect of my wedding planning and wedding, of course I endured stress at times, but that's also a part of the process with planning any large event and a part of being a BRIDE.

Self care plan

Happy Friday!
It is so important for Everyone to have a self care plan. We all lead busy lives and can become inundated with the happenings of everyone around us. You should ask yourself, "Am I dedicating time to myself on a regular basis?" Many of us do not. Do you prioritize everyone and everything, except yourself? Are you neglecting yourself in any way?

These are questions that I would like for you to begin to ask yourself. If you answered yes, to either question, it is time for you to formulate a self care regimen.

You may be asking yourself, how do I begin a self care regimen, when there is just not enough time in the day?  Remind yourself that there is always time in each day to do the things that you find most important, and "YOU" should absolutely be at the TOP of your list of priorities. So let me provide you with a few ideas that you can use.

There is no one else like you

Today is such a beautiful day outside. The temperature is warm and the birds are chirping. I can't help but feel great!  As I was getting myself ready to begin my day, I began to remind myself, that although there are so many people doing similar work than me, no one can do exactly what I do! God SPECIFICALLY created me to work with the people whose lives I am PURPOSEFULLY supposed to touch. You see, sometimes even I compare myself to others. In the past, I have focused on what others think about me and the work that I am doing, and less about what God thinks about who I am and the work that I do. Today, my focus is putting God first and listening to His call over my life. We so often compare ourselves to other people, and instead we need to realize, that we are all created with amazing gifts of our own, that we need to be tapping into. Instead of reflecting on what the next person is doing, it is best to align yourself with the gifts that already exist within you! When I learned…
